BACK TO HOCKEY 2024
These sessions are aimed at adult beginners, those that have played in the past or who play for our lower teams.
VENUE: Astro Pitch 1, Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport
DATE/ TIME: Every Sunday starting 12th May and finishing 20th July, 9.30am – 11.00am
KIT: Please bring a hockey stick (or let us know if you need to borrow one), a gum shield, shin pads, water bottle and you may want to bring sun screen. Wear whatever clothes will be most comfortable and either trainers or astro shoes.
FORMAT: Sessions are mixed but are strictly for adults - sorry no children! We go through all of the basics and build on these during training and follow up with some 11 a-side games. The sessions will be led by a number of our qualified club coaches.
FEE: £30 per player (for both existing SWHC members and new players). Coaches - please select the £0 option
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED: can existing SWHC members each purchase a Back to Hockey £30 ticket listed on Teamo on 19/5 date. All external candidates should email juniors@saffronwaldenhock... and download the Teamo app (https://www.teamo.chat/cl...) joining the new members queue.
