New Club House

We're popular! The addition of a second pitch, allowing all home games to played at the ground, has created an urgent need to update our current club house facilities. To meet the needs of these extra players, coaches and visitors we have decided to carry out a major refurbishment to create an enlarged social area with a new bar, kitchen, and toilets.

The current windows will be replaced by large glass doors giving access to the outside where we hope to lay a terrace. The changing rooms will be removed, and we have agreed with the school that we will be able to use the cricket pavilion as well as the sports hall for changing facilities.

These improvements will come at a cost and estimates are in the region of £120k, depending on availability and cost of materials.

The Club is hoping to raise in the region of £80k and we have started the Club House Appeal. As part of the appeal we will be approaching local businesses, club members and individuals for sponsorship and donations, and associations to see if we qualify for grants.

Our timeline is to have reached our target by the end of the season, so that we can start the refurbishment next summer. I realise that this will be difficult, but I am 100% certain if we all pull together, we will reach our target.
